John and I were able to get away for a few days after the wedding, which was very much needed and much too short. We went to Snowbird and enjoyed lots of sleep, cooler temperatures, and not needing to be anywhere at any certain time.
We were a little sad because we didn't get the chance to do anything on Sunday because we spent the afternoon napping and by the time we went exploring, it was raining and every was closed. So we completely missed Oktoberfest and then we found out all the activities were only open on the weekends, so we missed out on getting to ride the Alpine slide, the zip line, and a bunch of other stuff. We took some pictures of us being sad about all the things we didn't get to do. :-)

not riding the zip-line |
We did get to take a tram ride though, and it was beautiful. We packed a little picnic lunch and hiked around a bit and had a good time.

It was short, but it was great to relax for a bit before all the packing and moving commenced pretty much immediately when we got home...and by home, well, John's house we were moving out of. Good times. |

Oh man, all those "not-doing" pictures are so sad + funny. But I'm glad you were able to briefly get away from everything, such a wonderful feeling.
So sorry about missing everything that is really sad. Especially because two weeks ago, I rode the alpine slide for the first time! It was awesome so I can totally understand about being sad you missed it! Thank goodness for the tram huh? That sounds so fun to go up and have a little picnic lunch and hike! Glad you were able to do that! What a pretty place!
That's pretty sad. At least you got to go on the tram, that's pretty cool.
I should feel sad that you about all you didn't get to do but all the pictures just made me smile!
Glad you had a good time anyway!
