blog makeover+we made it!

So you may have noticed that the little blog got a makeover today.  John told me we should start a blog and I reminded him I already have a blog.  So instead of starting a new one, this one is now "our" blog and not just mine.  Something tells me I will still be doing the majority of posting.  I still haven't decided if I'm going to change the blog address.  Any thoughts?

I am going to try really hard to post more often now that we are living so far away from family and friends and I will also be doing a lot of blog reading so I can keep up with what is going on with everyone, so you all should post a lot too.  Include pictures please.  Thank you. :-)

Anyway, we made it the Massachusetts!  It was a very long drive, but we survived and so did the cats (we brought 2, thanks to those that are watching the others...for now).  Before we left, we were able to spend a bit of time hanging out with friends and family but we spent most of our time packing and cleaning and getting ready for the move.  Thanks to everyone who helped us so much!

We stayed in Laramie, WY then Des Moines, IA and the last night with our friends Taylor and Cassie in Cleveland, OH (thanks again for the last minute accommodations!).  I very randomly took some pictures along the way:

I wasn't sure we were actually going to leave, but we did and now we are waiting to move in to an apartment.  In the meantime, John's boss and his family are graciously letting us stay with them so we don't have to be in a hotel.  We found an apartment we really like in a town we really, really like and we're just waiting to hear if our application is approved.  We are really excited and anxious to have a place of our own so we can finally get our little home set up here.  I'll keep you all posted!
