John and I went to our first (hopefully not only) Red Sox game on April 30. My friend Amberly was in town with her husband for work (his, I think) and they had tickets to the game so we decided to get tickets as well and then meet up with them after to hang out. MA is funny about sports-you have to be a fan or pretend you are a fan of every team or you will be mocked and/or shunned. I'm sure to many people, being at Fenway is a dream come true. I admit, it was a cool experience, but not the greatest night of my life or anything. It was a pretty good game, but the Sox lost to the Seattle Mariners 0-2. Hopefully we will get to go to another game and hopefully they will win!
